另一个让我们家长非常满意的地方就是**实验初中的素质教育开展的有声有色，效果显著。大部分教师业务过硬，向40分钟要质量，而且都能熟练的应用现代化的教学手段，每天孩子都会开心的对我们讲今天老师又用电脑给他们上课了，这不仅更有效的教会了学生知识，而且拓宽了学生的视野。除此之外，学校还开设了众多的活动课，必修课，和提优补差课，而且今年还应大部分家长的要求开设了晚自习，并有专门的老师辅导，只要学生有问题，随时提问，随时解答，这真是让我们平民的孩子也享受到了贵族的待遇，正如**学校的办学宗旨所说的那样“面向平民办教育”，我们的孩子在这样的学校里学习，我们怎能不放心呢？

最让我们家长感动和感激的就是所有任课教师的敬业精神和高尚的职业道德。经常听孩子回家说他们的老师几乎是全天候的关注着他们，无论是上课还是下课，无论是体锻还是活动，无论是做操还是吃饭，只要是有学生的地方就会有我们老师的出现。所以说我们的孩子在这样的学校里读书，作为家长，我们怎能不庆幸呢?我由衷地感谢校领导的新教育理念，感谢班主任及任课老师的创造性工作，孩子参加的活动我记不全了，但其中印象较深的是红领巾广播，制作各种小报，收集各种资料，组织学生春游、秋游、班队活动，到社会实践基地活动，参加各种展览，组织看电影，布置手工制作作业等等，这些活动锻炼了他们动手、动脑的能力，也开拓了学生的视野，陶冶了学生的情操，使他们不仅仅增长了书本上的知识，又增长了课外知识。从以上我不全面的回顾中，我们不难发现，学校对孩子的教育、关心是全方面的，是符合现代最新的教育理念的。学校精心地哺育我们的孩子，那么我们做家长的应该做些什么呢？我个人认为应做好以下三个方面的工作：

一、营造良好的家庭氛围，培养孩子良好的学习、生活习惯。

父母是孩子的第一任老师，家庭环境对孩子很重要。我们要尽力为孩子营造一个积极向上的氛围，父母以身作则，身体力行，比如尊敬长辈，关心他人，宽待他人，说话算话，言行一致，关心集体，积极参加集体劳动，积极参与班级管理，要求孩子做到的父母必须做到。克服烦燥心理和怕苦畏难的心理，纠正粗心大意的习惯；生活中按时作息，自己的事自己做，不挑食，不乱花钱，不乱抛乱扔，不以自我为中心，要经得起批评与挫折。

二、全面关心孩子，了解、理解并帮助孩子。
