i am grateful for the opportunity to deliver my speech here after 7-dayssquo; preparation with my friend jinly. thanks to jinlysquo;s strong support in our work. i think it is my way of saying thank you to you that giving an excellent presentation to all my friends here.

the subject of our presentation is your dream & your goal. during the next 10 minutes, wesquo;ll give you a brief explanation of these stuff at the best of our knowledge.

first of all, isquo;d like to spent 3 or 5 minutes on discussing about the dream. when we were 5, they asked us what we want to be when we grow up. we answered like superman, princess, or in my case, a sailor moon. when we were 10, again they asked and the answer was policemen, doctors and some other high-principled jobs. but unfortunately, we finally found our dreams unrealistic as we entered a not-so-good high school, did not-so-good school works and went to a not-so-good direction in our life. i guess, many of you have thought about changing your dreams, but finally felt at a loss again. yep! wesquo;re adults and they are waiting for a serious answer. well, how about this? who the hell knows! dream is only a dream. itsquo;s unnecessary for us to think over our dreams all day long. you know, dreams always change, and this is not the time to make difficult decisions. but what do dreams do? why do we still have an urgent need of dreams?

think about it: do you have had a time when you were full of happiness just because you have made an achievement that pushes you a bit to your dream? do you have had a time when you insist on what you were doing even the tears keep falling from your eyes? that is the power from dreams! may i equate the faith and the dream here? as we all know, aims and dreams are far from each other to some extent but close to each other on the other hand. just like the parabola and the number line in mathematics. but it is the dream that help us to map out our aim and work out plans one after another in our life. just like what howard schultz, the founder of the starbuck said, dreams are like the stars----we never reach them, but like mariners, we chart our course by them. and i believe that if you have a dream and make efforts step by step, some of you may extremely finish the quantitative change on the way to success and reach the qualitative change!

i would like to finish my part by a tongue twister: whether the weather be fine or whether the weather be not. whether the weather be cold or whether the weather be hot. we'll weather the weather whether we like it or not. whatever you dreams are and however difficult it is to realize them. reach your aim step by step and i believe your dreams will extremely come into truth!

everyone has their own dreams, i am no exception. this is my dream for five years. i grew up love swimming, correct posture, swim fast, heard a lot of praise, some said to i taught them to swim! from then on, the dream was born, so i keep practice every day...

my effort is to one day be able to not only when athletes, in the crowd watching right now i get a medal of that a moment, but also for the motherland proud! i'm from grade one to grade five dream still has not changed. i still love swimming, fierce war still admire the sports meeting of the athletes; still admire the moment they get prize excited and happy. i hope one day i can and all as they walked onto the stage, looking forward to fierce applause, i am looking forward to... these, for the past five years, there is no change.

i love swimming, i once thought: "the power of a dream is so large, can pay all costs for dreams, sometimes i am not afraid of hard work, because i've heard a word" i want to do must do our best to finish it, "this is my motto in life." i'm looking forward to the podium on the excitement and joy of a moment, so i will do my best efforts, on their own strength, to complete my dream, this is me. i look forward to the return of my success.

in order to dream, come rain or shine, i still hold this dream, will not change forever...

我努力不仅是为了有一天能当上运动员，在众人的眼下观看着我领取奖牌的那一刻，而且也是为了给祖国争光!我从一年级到五年级的梦想依然没有改变。我依然热爱游泳，依然仰慕着运动会上激烈战争的运动员们;依然仰慕她们拿奖的那一刻的激动与快乐。我盼望我有一天能和她们一样走上舞台、盼望众人激烈的掌声，我盼望着……这些、五年来，依然没有改变。

我爱游泳，我曾想过：梦想的力量是如此的巨大，有时可以为梦想付出一切代价，我不怕辛苦，因为我听过一句话自己想要做到的事就一定要尽自己的最大的努力去完成它这就是我人生的格言。我期待着站上领奖台上的那一刻的激动与快乐，因此我要尽自己最大的努力、靠自己的实力，去完成我的梦想，这就是我。我期待着我成功的到来。

on the night of march 1, the 76th annual academy awards was shown on television. after watching it, i had a dream, a sudden wish, that some day, i could receive an oscar award, or a nomination, for a movie i've made.

while i was schooling in australia, my friends from school andi received a n assignment one day, "to make a ten to twenty minute movie on the topic of your choice." at the time, the trend was based around the popular matrix movie trilogy, so that became our obvious choice.

because our schedule was very tight, and it was a first time experience, we found it all very hard work, but when we released our production at school, it was worth it. after my friends and i showed the movie, we could not get from one end of the school to the other without getting congratulated about five or six times. we, especially i, were proud. we made a school-wide sensation.

from then on, i became obsessed with how to make movies and how filming is done. i just wanted to know about everyone and everything that has something to do with movies. i would watch a movie four to five times, just to find out how one camera angle, or

special effect was produced. i found everything i watched quite amazing. i sometimes admired directors and producers of these films because the techniques they use are so smart. their cleverness inspired me to make and act in movies.

when i become little bit older, i would like to attend a movie academy in beijing or shanghai, then america, or england, after some training and experience, i would like to make a movie, which will most likely be an action movie, which is my favorite kind of movie to watch.. if i am lucky, i hope i would get an oscar award for this movie. i think that would be quite a challenge, but itsquo;s not impossible. for now, itsquo;s back to watching movies over and over again for me!

i can assure that every child have written a composition titled my dream. they have already written down their longing for the future. some of them want to become scientists; some of them hope to become teachers or doctors. maybe they didnsquo;t know how many difficulties they will face before their dream come true. but the dreams are like small seeds planted in their hearts; like the beacon in the sea that lead them to their destinations.

dream is the fountain of strength. dream is the support of faith. dream is the polaris. dream reminds us to move forward, to struggle, to strive all the time. one of my friends told me that dream will never discard anyone! yes, maybe one day everything is gone but dreams is still there with you, eternally.

dream changed us, and therefore we changed the world. it is dream that refreshes the world every day. it is also dream that makes the world improve day by day. we dare to dream. we can also achieve our dreams and change the world.
