internet is an international computer network connecting other networks and computers from companies,universities,etc.at present,most of people can use computer for working,chatting,playing game,watching the movie and picture,and searching anything by clicking on internet.internet is useful assistant for leading you to another world which amazing thing.i think internet has advantage and disadvantage.

advantage of internet is that you can do anything that you want on internet when it was connected to independent world such as download data,programs,game,picture etc.but internet has risk to receive spy ware,it attempts to disable or anti-spy ware tool and suppress warning massages given to users,it damages your data or system in your computer.moreover,you have risk to find the bad persons when chat in chat room especially women.you can found the crime news on the newspapers.the news said they have many victim from chatting with unknown people by the victim were believed implicitly.in conclusion,many people still use internet because it is useful and comfortable.

inernet has been an important part in our life.with the help of inernet we can develop the effective of our study or job.for example ,we can learn more knowledge about the world from the inernet.and as the youngs in 21st centery,the skill of using the internet has been the most necessary point for us.but there are risks in it.a lot of youngners lost themselves in the data world and can not catch up with others in study.they'd like to be the best in the games instead of in hard-working.in my own point,i think internet has more advantages than disadvantages.people should make the most use of it so that it can been useful not harmful.

例如：我就是在一个偶然的机会中认识互联网的，那是在妈妈工作的地方，那玩，我去她那玩，妈妈把我领入一间电脑房，在电脑上的桌面上，我看见了一个映有“intennet”的图标，我感到很是惊奇，便双击这个图标，妈妈在旁边说：“这是互联网，你想知道什么，就可以知道什么！”听了这句话，我觉得很神奇，就用拼音输入法输了一个“春雨贵如油”，再按“enter”，还没到一眨眼的功夫，便有了回应。有的就是讲“春雨绵绵细雨蒙蒙什么之类的，下一类就是我所要的答案：“春雨贵如油，被后是什么呢？“多下农民愁”。

我有点不相信自己的眼睛，再次输入了一句：“白露早，寒露迟”的谚语，谁知它又找到了主站点，只见上面写着白露早，寒露迟的原因。以及白露早，寒露迟的`下半句谚语：“枣芽发，种棉花”。

我想：难道它非常神奇吗？我不干心败在它的手下，又一次输入了个“无题”，我心想：我输得没头没尾，这会儿总难倒你了吧！我心里正窃喜，但是上面又有了资料讲《无题》是一首诗，是谁写的，诗句都有。真拿它没办法。

很小的时候，大概两三岁，我根本不知道放在书房里的那个奇怪的“东西”是什么；爸爸把一个又一个的“小方块”敲的霹雳啪啦的；点击着那个“小老鼠”；这还不是最奇怪的，爸爸把一根线和那个奇怪的'“东西”连起来，点开一个“e”的小图，然后打几个字就出现了一大堆网页和想要的资料。有些时候点开一个“w”的小图，竟然能“敲”出一大堆字。其实直到长大，大概四五岁，爸爸才告诉我这不是什么奇怪的“东西”，这是电脑；这个“e”字的小图是互联网的标记；“w”的小图是word文档的简称……

我第一次需要上网是查资料，好像是作文该怎么写，互联网上应应俱全，让我很吃惊，怎么巨大的工程，工作人员是怎么做成的？后来我才知道它是由多个网页铸成的。

爸爸说了很多，但是我对互联网颇有很深的印象，从此我开始上网，因为互联网很大，像个巨型商场怎么也逛不完，还像一个世界博物馆怎么也参观不完……我打心底佩服互联网。

the internet has brought significant changes to our lives in recent years. however, there remains some disagreement as to whether the overall effect of this technology has been positive or negative. while there are certainly valid arguments to the contrary, i personally believe that the benefits of the internet far outweigh its drawbacks and these benefits are twofold.

first of all, it is an indisputable fact that the internet has revolutionized the way we communicate. despite the risk of social isolation-a problem occasionally seen in people who spend too much time at their computer terminal rather than relating to people in the real world-most of us have benefited greatly from e-mails and internet chat programs like msn messenger. these incredibly useful and powerful tools of communication facilitate both contact with loved ones in faraway places and global trade.

moreover, the internet has placed the entire world (and all of the information in it) at our fingertips. in earlier times, conducting research entailed long hours searching library shelves. now, however, the same information can be accessed at the click of a button. admittedly, not all of the information available on the internet is reliable or helpful-there is a vast amount of material online that some would consider offensive or dangerous, ranging from pornography to instructions on how to make bombs. nonetheless, i would contend that this free flow of information has generally been a very positive development.

by way of conclusion, i once again reaffirm my position that the internet has had a positive impact on modern life because of its influences on communication and the flow of information.
