它的荷叶绿油油的，像一把大伞，像一个盘子，像一个绿盈盈的大蘑菇。荷花的颜色也有很多，有粉红的，白色的，紫色的应有尽有。荷花的花瓣像小蚂蚁的小船，能载蚂蚁过河，大约有十几瓣。荷花中间的花蕊黄灿灿的，中间还有一个莲蓬，金黄金黄的，像一个小姑娘穿着草裙在跳舞。把荷花连根拔起，就可以看到它的根，也就是藕。藕的.样子像小姑娘的粗辫子，洗干净之后就能看到它雪白雪白的身体。
